INTERESTS:
Herbalism, walking my fab dogs in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, writing books that I never finish, cooking both for health and nutrition, but also for dinner parties and large catering projects from time to time, aphrodisiacs and all the enjoyment they bring.
my new pole-dancing pole, which my friends and I are using to keep fit (exercise in 6 inch heels - excellent!), lazy days and crazy nights and generally enjoying my new lease of life.
I'm enjoying meeting people with a different take on life, people with dreams and aspirations, and sharing experiences and laughter ....and sometimes tears.
I am also here to support women who are going through some of the things I have been through (domestic violence and also a terrifyingly symptomatic menopause, which nearly drove me to the brink), in the hope that I can share my solutions and that lives can be saved or improved. We all need someone to talk to, but few understand what we are really going through, or even believe us.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. ...Explore..... Dream........... (Mark Twain)

Primal Scream, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand, Jamie Foxx, Artic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Zutons and so much more inc R& B and hip-hop - just love the music at the moment.
From the past: Kate Bush, Roxy Music, David Bowie, Alanis Morissette, Talking Heads, Pretenders, Blondie to name a few. I also listen to a lot of Jazz/blues, and support the abundant local talent in my nearby market town.
Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, Vanilla Sky, Zoolander, Moulin Rouge, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Edward Scissorhands, Pulp Fiction, Thelma and Louise, Supersize Me, Chocolat, Fahreinheit 9/11, Midnight Express,
Don't so much "watch" tv, as have it on in the background sometimes. If I do stop to relax a while then it's likely to be - F1 Grand Prix, Top Gear, The Wright Stuff, You are what you eat, 10 years younger, QI, Countdown, Green Wing, Bloomberg and news channels, Watchdog and ..most cutting edge british comedy.
All reference, mainly on herbalism, alternative medicine, women's health issues and a few on cookery, finance, current affairs, interior design or whatever my latest interest or get rich quick scheme is related to. Oh yeah - and I always indulge in a bit of Chick Lit when I go on holiday, but nothing memorable. In the days when I did have time to read fiction John Fowles was my favourite author.
