Hangmans Joke

.. Hangmans Joke was founded in 2004 by singer Martin Larsen, guitarist Harley and drummer Martin Mølgaard. They had previously played in various metal and rock bands as A New Breed, Skurk and Pale. After finding each other they soon discovered a common goal: To make Danish rock music come alive once again!The inspiration came from rock legends like Mötley Crüe, Pantera, AC/DC and Guns N Roses. Music all the members of Hangmans Joke grew up with and were the reason they started playing rock to begin with. They all felt that the new RockNRoll was all fancy hair and bling without any balls or nerve! Something had to be done and TruckNRoll became a reality!Hangmans Joke started out rehearsing in a friends house. Blood, sweat and testosterone running down the walls. Beer, joints and Jack Daniels on every table and speaker. Every rehearsal was a party and it attracted people from near and far.After six months the bass player Niels Rotne joined Hangmans Joke and The Jokers had a full crew. Shortly after they decided to record and EP simply called TruckNRoll at Jan Borsing, Borsing Recording and they are now ready to tear every concert venue apart if you dare invite them!
