About Me

2005 was the year - February was the month - nobody remembers the day or what the hell they were doing at the time, when suddenly, spontaneously, a handful of Copenhagen's finest joined forces to create something heavy, something fun, something badass. This idea soon evolved into an über heavy band. - or was it?
Thus... HEFTY MENNESKE was born!!!
Blending styles of Hardcore Metal, Grunge and a shout out to the classic masters of metal, the Hefties bring a powerful new perspective to the age old art of kicking ass.
Basing their personal and musical philosophy around "The Heft" and "all things Hefty", (such as Beer, Metal, and generally displaying the intellect of a slightly mature adolescent) Hefty Menneske mix a personality to their live show which is both fun as well as bad ass. They have been known to give away a ton of free beer as well as employ the services of beautiful women to do their bidding.
"The Heft" has just broken ground on their first CD release, with such bone crushing hits as:
"The Squirrel & The Bitch", "Old School", "Blast Master" and "Heft On Wheels"
