Virus Zine

Independent Culture - www.viruszine.com

About Me

Virus Zine was cooked up in the summer of 1998, the first issue was released that fall . The printed zine was laid to rest and the website, viruszine.com was launched on January 22, 2002 in order to expand the contents and audience. We want this site to bring together aspects of independent culture, without the whole 'indier-than-thou' bullshit. Our little family is slowly growing and we're always looking to collaborate with other independent projects.
Get in touch with us about your independent project so we can write about it!

Contributors:
May Shank [Toronto, Ontario] - Founder, recently retired gal
May started Virus waaay back in 1998 and it's finally time to pass the torch. Nikki is now the master and commander.
Nikki Nutley [Toronto, Ontario] - Editor, general answerer of emails, distro gal, crafty goddess
Nikki is hard at work setting up the Virus distro. She also deals with all the same stuff May does, but she gets out more columns. All distro related questions should be directed this way. Nikki is a very crafty gal. She's always making creations, mainly jewelry lately, though also knitted and sewn items too. Then there are things like the playing card purse. See? Very crafty. She's putting all this towards her own line of wonderful creations. She's also working on setting up a craft collective in Toronto.
