About Me

I spent two years studying in France. After doing some significant travelling in Europe, I realized that I hadn't been many place in my own country. So when I got back to the states, I went on a major roadtrip with a friend. 20,000 miles later I landed back in the ATL to re-commence grad school.

One of my favorite quotes:

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -- Mark Twain

My Interests

I'm always picking up new hobbies, even though I don't have time for the stuff I already do... bicycling, playing guitar, caving, beer making, bread making, salsa dancing, snowboarding.

out of milk

I was out of milk this morning, so I poured Dr.Pepper on my grape-nuts. While I don't expect this concoction to appear on breakfast menus any time soon, it works in a pinch.
