God, where to bloody start with these things. Well, somewhere near the beginning's always good, ain't it? In saying that, I don't think any of you really want to be regaled with stories of me shooting from my mother's loins at bullet speed on that dark day in May 1983, so, moving along...
Hi.
Rachel here, previously wreaking mersey havoc in Vancouver as head writer of "Ed Edd n Eddy", now back in Liverpool with the intent to get my unlearned ass into uni this september. In my spare time I like to nurture the fledgling ideas for cartoons, books and movies knocking around in this skull o' mine, and by nurture I mean open up microsoft word with all the best intentions of writing the next great novel...and then just stare at the screen. Maybe put the date in. Ooh, let's bold it and make it fancy. Then I walk away and watch informercials on zit cream and non-stick frying pans. It's THAT bad.
I also enjoy painting, going for long, mind-clearing walks and attending the odd live music night once a month. There's something about smoky bars and blarring bass that's so ZEN, doncha think?
I have a circle of close-knit friends that I hang out with and talk to pretty much every day, but I'm always looking to expand that circle with genuine, like-minded people. They would probably describe me as good-hearted, loyal and wacky beyond all redemption - which I consider a compliment, so there!
I'm at a place in my life right now where I'm completely content, and ready to shoulder anything life decides to throw at me. It's took me many years to get to this point. I'm actually glad for all the things I've experienced, good and bad. We've all gotta ease up on ourselves and just be, that's what I say.
I'm mouthy, sarky, short-fused, competitive, know-it-all-ish, blunt, egomaniacal, attention-hungry, pouty, loud, cheeky, impatient, impulsive, and basically an all-round jerk, asswit and drama queen. If you ain't sold on that, you might also like to know I'm quite adept at running with scissors. And impaling you by your manhood with them. OH yes.
