M.J~MS. INITIALS OF GREATNESS

Hello People! I'm Maressa J'nae, aka M.J, a native of Atlanta, Ga. I have been singing ever since I can remember (since about 4) I am a performer by nature. Ive always loved to entertain. Im no stranger to the music industry, I have worked very closely with famed singer/multiplatinum songwriter Kandi Buruss (formerly of the girl group Xscape) and was signed to her production label called Kandi Koated and have been frequently aquainted with some of the industry's most important people. Ive been in 3 groups 2 girl groups and 1 mixed group. Now I am currently solo and loving it. I am a very good writer alot of the music i will be posting will be written by myself yet i do also write for others. I am inspired by the greats such as Micheal Jackson, Janet Jackson, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, and now im definetly taking notes from todays finest artist. My music is definetly destined to be above the best I strive for greatness and wont accept anything less, I'm on a quest to return music back into a quality state. On a personal tip however im a very cool chick im a very fun outgoing person yet extremely hard working and focused. However Im only on here for networking and friends so to all those who may be trying to holla I cant do it... To those who listened to the island boy song it was written by Theron of the group Rock City (Coming Soon) and he is from the Virgin Islands, it was produced by Freeagents. Light a candle is written by me and produced by P-NO (Dro, Outkast, Franchise, Trick Daddy, ect)
