A new year means a new grindJ & R
J & RIn 2003 The CEO of J & R Productionz foarmed a group of five young stars. He saved and saved until enough money was saved for him to start building his studio. At first it was all fun and games because the group recorded songs just to listen to or passes them to friends at school. JDogg has been involved with music since the third grade but didnt start recording in an studio until the ninthe grade. He did alot helping other local artists which he still does like charging little or nothing to produce tracks, giving artists studio time, graphics, or just giving advise. There are five members in the group which used to be Da Gutta Squad whose names are JDogg, Lil Ryan, Lil Rob, T-One and Big Brock. They had to change the name when alot of other artists around Memphis started using the name. They all are located in Memphis TN, and they met at school and experienced alot from freestyling in the lunchroom from performing in the nieghborhood park. They also are well connected with other local artists such as Scooby Manne from the 901 Thugs, Kavious and many other locals that are not signed yet. They JDogg got tired of letting all of their good talent go to waste so they are now dropping their first real album. We have fans not only in Memphis but also outside the state. They were forced to do it from friends and family everyone telling them to stop letting the talent go to waste. They are the next young artists to blow out of Memphis who really have the talent. In 2004 they started selling their album out of the trunck and that went well which made the young talented artists want to expand their marketing solutions. JDogg and T-Won are the most serious in the group so they are the first to drop. They both are 19 and loved music since a very young age. They met at Mitchell High School at a school freestyle where alot of other school artists showed up. JDogg handles most of the business which keeps him bussy everyday. He works and goes to school, ITT Tech because even if his music career doesnt goes well he will still be doing good. The two artists have styles that are unique JDogg has a strong south type voice that everyone falls in love with and T-Won who also rap, produces, and sing has his own style which slightly seperates them from normal Memphis artists and all they are looking for is for someone to open the door for them to get them started. Even if it's not some big label they really need some kind of marketing plan. They wrok too hardto let all of their good talent go to waste from stying up late in the studio until 7am making sure everything is perfect from promoting the album.Services
