Movies are quite possibly the most important thing to me.. (well most important thing that has no pulse anyway). I'm a huge fan of sci-fi imagery but not exclusively so. My favourite film will always be Bladerunner but also lately I can't get enough of the visuals in Alien and Aliens.. phenomenal!
I'm a big fan of Korean director Chan-wook Park mainly for his immaculate sense of style and meticulous attention to visual detail in every shot.
My favourite film of 2006 was Children of Men - astonishing cinematography.. definitely deserves the oscar nod.
Also!

I actually work in TV post-production.
Until recently, however, I did not own a TV that receives a signal... what does that tell ya?
TV is good for Ren and Stimpy, LEXX and DVDs. Yup.
