About Me

God takes care of himself and you of you. It's just how i'm feeling at the time

My Interests

grammar, metabolism, disposable cameras, city living, country living, cheap flights, maybe moving, Google (alerts, froogle, etc.), and Craigslist. Also, making love out of nothing at all. I love the Fall the most.

I'd like to meet:

Kid Charol, Art Pepper, and Ben Bradlee.

Music:

Jug Band, Ready to Die, Waylon Jennings, VU, RocknRoll, the new Canadian sound, Shawn Carter, Springsteen, talking heads yada yada... I saw Loretta Lynn's pink tour bus in Studio City. I just discovered country stations play classic country and western music most Sundays. Last band I saw was The Pogues. Last man i saw was Ray Davies. Last band I meant to see was Awesome Color.

Movies:

Joe vs. the Volcanoe. I want to see The Anderson Tapes and Two Days In October. Wordplay is the best movie i've seen for sure this year. I cry at movies, not those ones, but others... I did not like Inconvenient Truth and it's hard for me to accept that you did. Me and You and Everyone We Know is something special i feel. check out www.rebelyellthemovie.com - it's something i made (with others).

Television:

HBO, amy poehler, late night musical guests, Unforgivable Blackness, Big time news stuff. Talking like national live coverage. Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, And the Michael Jackson Doc

Books:

Last month I finished reading The Man In the Gray Flannel Suit by Sloan Wilson and Eye In the Sky by P K Dick. I'm still trying Tropic of Cancer have been trying will probably have to keep on trying for a while. Lately I've been re-reading letters people wrote me before I could drink. There are lots of them. The New Yorker. The Times obits. Truth in Comedy. Wikipedia. If you're gonna ask to borrow it, I'll take that as a sign you'll stick around.

Heroes:

My grandparents. Big Time. One grandmother worked the line at GM and Chrysler; the other lived in a cave in Italy for a year with her entire Italian family. Both my grandfathers fought in wars. They all have/had a great sense of humor. Nick.
