Paul got hooked on music at a very early age. He received his first electronic keyboard as a gift when he was four and hasn't stopped playing since. Having been around music all of his life due to his father being in bands from the age of fourteen, Paul has an enormous list
of musical influences. Whilst growing up, Paul really got into the technical side of music, recording himself playing and putting tracks together with Steinberg's Cubase and an Atari ST. He then studied Music Technology & Performing Arts for two years and the world renowned
BRIT School in Surrey. The course included: Recording Techniques, Advanced Production,
Performance Workshops, Composition & Arrangement and Singing. It was whilst he was attending college that Paul went clubbing for the first time and got the dance music bug. He then set about learning about, listening to and writing as much of it as he possibly could. Whether it was House, Garage, Trance or Drum & Bass, Paul couldnt get enough.
After completing his course, Paul worked in retail in order to pay for new studio equipment such as samplers, synth modules, mixers and effects units and set about learning how to program them all along with any music software he could get his hands on. After about two years, Paul opened a music equipment shop with his father and learnt another aspect of the music business. The shop contained lots of Pro equipment including the Denon range of DJ's CD players and mixers. After giving demonstrations to customers, Paul began to practise at every given opportunity and eventually had his own gear at home to use whilst he wasn't at work. Paul then spent all his spare time practicing as much as he could and then luckily landed his first gig in a local nightclub, which became his first residency. Since then Paul has had another three residencies spanning seven years, started his own night called
Indulgence , played to thousands of people all over the world and become a resident for ultra-cool dance label
Hed Kandi , for whom he has played at such venues as: Gatecrasher-Sheffield, Nation-Liverpool, The Arches-Glasgow, The Honey Club-Brighton, Pacha-London, Pacha-Egypt, Hey Jude-The Philippines, 8 Seasons-Munich, Digital-Newcastle Upon Tyne, Discotheque-Leeds, Mo'Vida-London, Dreamers-Puerto Banus, Trilogy-Dubai, Paradise Club-Mykonos, Media-Nottingham, Casbah-Switzerland and The Emporium-Coalville.
Paul is also spending alot of time in the studio, writing, producing and remixing on his own, under the names
