Who am i? Well i'm Single, I Live in Perth (NOR) i spend my time writing music, partying, photographing raves, Dj'ing (rarely now) and generally trying to be creative as possible. leave a message! (you can msn me at [email protected] )I hail from central Birmingham and was brought up amongst the council estates of Yardley and Small Heath, this is where my musical tastes developed from my mother the likes of Jean-Michell Jarre and Tangerine Dream, From the streets and shops of the West Indian / African / Indian communities the exotic sounds and melodies that filled my world. I started out writing music on a borrowed Atari ST with a dodgy 8 bit sampling cartridge, due to lack of any money or equipment i didnt progress from this stage for a while relying on borrowed equipment certainly makes you value creative time tho! I finally got a proper job and enough spare cash / credit :) to start building a small home studio to get the music that was in my head down onto a medium that everyone could hear. My studio consisted of an Atari STE, a Sampson Mixpad, A Yamaha SY85 synth and my favourite bit of kit an AKAI S1000.About this time the UK rave scene was kicking off, and older mates of mine used to take me out to distant locations and get me "mullered" LMFAO! I was a regular on the rave scene and was wanting to be involved more and more, i got a break at Destiny at the Manor and was given residency, sadly this was for operating the lighting rig and not being a DJ!During this time i was writing music based on what i heard at the weekend and trying too add a twist of my own, i always carried demo tapes with me on my nights out or operating the lights at the Manor.It was at at one of these nights i met DJ Dave Devestate (Next Generation Records) we hit it off straight away and ar firm friends to this day! this was the start of my more "sucessful" music making career, i have close friendships and have worked on numerous tracks with some of the friendliest. honest and most hardworking people in the scene, these include and Shouts go out to Mc/DJ Sharkey, Dj Brisk, Dj Melody, Dj Fade, Robbie Long, Jay Frantic, X-cess, X-cite, Gary X-Fade (Xmen Bournemouth), Brian TopGroove, Clare (Little Miss) Large, Matt Gash/Laws (Binary Finary) and many more. Over the years i have constanly innovated and pushed the limits, I was the first in the Scene to use Ableton Live, Live at a venue (dont ask about the MIDI CLOCK!!)My passion is music. its that simple, i'm still discovering things about myself, I'm on a journey and i'm loving it! **UPDATE** Im living in Perth NOW! **UPDATE**, so guys i NEED people to work with to bounce ideas off, so if you write music and understand where i've come from get in touch! i LOVE all music that has that special ingredient that makes it sparkle.. you know the thing that you know its been written with true passion and technical ability, the clever simple tunes that we all love.
