Engineered Reflex

This is the profile for Paul ‘Melody’ Smith. Paul started making music in the early 90s initially in the Hardcore scene as DJ Melody. Working with DJ Fade as Metropolis, he produced many tracks including, Liquid Nights, Is This Love? and Twister for Alpha Projects, Silk Cuts Recordings and New Essential Platinum. Nearing the end of the decade Paul started producing trance and hard dance with Dave Edge under the name of Bosh and Gurn, this included the official b-side mix of the UK top ten single Operation Blade by Public Domain. In 2002 Paul started producing a new robust trancey breakbeat sound with Alex Twiselton as Engineered Reflex.
