About Me

"MuFF originally started in late 2002 as a three piece consisting of members from an old local band called No Way Out. Wayne on vocals and guitar, Joey on bass and Jeff on drums. A few songs and shows later the band found themselves a new guitar player in Shaun, letting Wayne focus solely on vocals. This took the sound of the band to new heights.
Sometimes a group of guys run into situations where they don't always see eye to eye. Once Joey left MuFF the band was left without a bass player. It was right about then that Chris came along and filled the void. Once again the band was at the top of their game, playing shows with local bands such as Kilboy ,
Fallhard , Take This Oath , Koffin Kats and even openning for bigger bands like Sponge .
Everything was going good and the guys were accepted with open arms at every show they played, but you know how a group of guys can run into those situations where they don't always see eye to eye... I believe it starts off the second paragraph. Wayne left the band on particularly bad terms. MuFF, as it seemed, was finished. For more than a year Jeff Chris and Shaun sat idle, attempted writing, looking for the one that could take up the mantle of frontman. During this hiatus they attended shows, and even continued practicing together as to not lose the edge they worked so hard for.
After about a year of bad luck they decided to hold auditions for their new front man. A few tried, and some even came close, but they couldn't seem to find the voice they were looking for. Just when everything was starting to seem futile they were approached by former Kilboy frontman Keith. It seems it was a natural decision. A perfect fit. Like a glove. Hand in hand even. Starting over from scratch they played the songs and taught them to Keith and before long whispers of MuFF playing again could be heard in the local community. Fans clamored and speculation ran rampant until it happened. Fans came crawling from the woodwork to witness The Return of MuFF.
Since then the band has been playing shows and making friends in the scene, setting up connections and trying their best to make the music industry a fun place to play music instead of a good place to do business."
