TJ KLAY BIO
Nashville Singer/Songwriter and 20 plus years Hohner Harmonica Artist, TJ Klay was an original member of the country band Western Flyer. His harmonica, mandolin, guitar and harmony vocals graced the groups two CDs and helped garn them four hit singles and three CMT videos. They performed for the Kansas City Royals, the Martin Luther King Foundation and President Clinton.
It's TJ's harmonica that graces the theme song and background music in Jeff Foxworthy's "Big Night Out" as well as Dave Perkins' Ultra-Fix!.!.!.(What a Band!)
TJ performs solo at Songwriter Venues, Theaters, Resorts, Restaurants, Clubs, Churches, Conferences and Shooting Events across the country. He also performs in A Trio with Keith Longbotham and Chris Marion. TJ is a member of the Pro-Staff for HI Viz sight systems, A BrowninG Shotgun Ambassador & The 2006 Texas State "Open A Class" Sporting Clays Champion. With his publishing company, Sporting Klay's Music, he has released four solo CDs, wrote and produced The Grand American CD for the ATA's Grand American Trapshooting Championship, the San Antonio in September CD for the NSCA's Sporting Clays Nationals and the "Shoot for the Moon" CD for The USA Shooting ~Olimpic Shooting Team. The song was featured in their video promotion for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.
