Mental Funeral Zine

Sick Flicks And Brutal Music

About Me

Anybody remember my old zine CHILDREN OF CAINE? I did 2 issues. First one in came out in 1994 and the second one in 1996. I killed it off before the 3rd issue came out cos zines were getting all fancy with computer layout's, color covers, plus more were going the internet route. I didn't want any part of that. So, I called it quits and took a break. I was just burned out, feed up, and losing interest in the "scene". Around 1999, and thanx in large part to DVD, it was with renewed interest I decided to start up a zine once more only to find the great D.I.Y. underground had once again come full circle. Ahhhh, but what of the paper zine? Practicly non-existent! Hence the birth of Mental Funeral. For the record...Yes I stole the name of the zine from Autopsy! I love Autospy!!! Now for some real info...Mental Funeral has been around since 2000. M.F. is a totally D.I.Y., cut and paste zine (Yes, very old school), small print runs on past issues, but looking to increase with issue 6, cover a diverse array of music (grindcore, harsh noise/power electronics, death/gore/doom/black metal) and film (horror, cult, exploitation etc).ALL MENTAL FUNERAL ISSUES ARE SOLD OUT...EXCEPT issue5! ($4 US/ $7 WORLD).I’m planning the 6th issue of Mental Funeral zine for a late spring/early summer 2006 release. As of right now I’m taking submissions from band and labels for reviews purposes. If you send out promos to zines for review purposes please keep M.F. in mind or better yet add M.F. to your mailing list.MENTAL FUNERAL P.O.BOX 6609 BRIDGEPORT CT 06606 USA.Noooooooo... just cos you send me something for review doesn't mean your gonna get a zine!!! I'll snail mail or email you the review, that I can promise. Those who I interview, labels, distro's, and paying customers get zines...smart ass!WRITE FIRST IF YOU WANNA TRADE!!!!!! Don't piss me off and send shit...I hate you!I accept and review the following formats: CD's/CDr's, TAPES, DEMO’S, 7'EP’s, LP's, ZINES, BOOKs's, DVD's/DVDr's, VHS videos.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 I edited my profile with
