We're blue collar. We're a web based promotions and management company, aimed at assisting local talent, arising from the lack of exposure our local bands were receiving. Our goal is to offer local acts booking opportunities; various types of promotional options, and a chance at growing in the diverse Montreal scene. We don't make money, and alot of us work really long and hard for the little money we have. This isn't about the money. It's about giving back and helping out. Montreal is renowned as having the fastest growing music scene in the world and we want to ensure that our local artists get the exposure they deserve.

Trigger Effect have definitely made their name heard here in Montreal. "Dare to ride the Heliocraft" mixes the best excesses of 70's and 80's hard rock and delivers punk attitude. Shout along anthems, fast riffs, fist in the air chorus is what this 6-piece has to offer. Fortunately, these musicians don't make music to be taken seriously they make music that rocks! And they bring massive sound to their live shows that can't be ignored.

What's most impressive about Crawford is just how tightly written and played it is. Every song is calculated for maximum visceral and emotional impact. With the band deftly exploiting dynamics as they careen back and forth between balls-out aggression and soaring melodies. Lead by a devastating two-guitar assault, complex, and interesting riff structures without sacrificing the intensity that's at the core of the band's sound. They are definitely creating some noise and moving into a more experimental realm.

It's that familiar, contempo-punk-pop sensibility, bolstered by the amped-up hardcore ambitions that creates Kinsley. They channel tricky rhythms, shimmery soft parts and a metal-schooled guitar attack into their songs that are both action-packed and gratuitously stylized. Destined for something big, they’ve shared the stage with some great bands to achieve unparalleled significance among their peers. They are rapidly growing viral buzz here in Montreal and continue to do so.

The Boxen proves with their debut that you don't need to be noisy or extravagant in order to do the job. Their sound brings to mind influences from eighties bands with a very crisp dual-guitar approach, a classic rhythmic backbone consisting of bass and drums and spicing things up with jazz-cool keys. The result is fearless, filled with brutally honest songwriting and a big, organic rock sound. Far more than the sum of their influences this band lies in their songcraft making you want to hear it again and again until it's stuck in your head all day.

Set off by sonic embroidery, great synth back melodies and emotion-laden lyrics, Hello Dangerous proves themselves well beyond their years. The dual vocals, twin-attack guitars, stop-break rhythms, and, of course, emotional lyrics and singing are the signature features of this indie-rock band. There's no doubting the intelligent design of their gloriously adventurous off-kilter pop and the existential underpinnings of their lyrics.
