Snakebite was born in 1999 when Smoke and Pit started to play guitar togheter. After some years, first Junkie on the bass, then Mr.AJ on voice join the band and in 2003 Kendy take the place behind the drums! After months on playin' and writin' songs, on march 2004 Snakebite released their first demo-cd, called "Tickets For Rock n' Roll" with a lot of '80 L.A. glam street influences. It was a good glam rock ep but not for the quality and the production. During all the 2004 and the first months of 2005 the band has done a lot of gigs playin' old songs and a lot of new material which try to get most personal, not only a copy of the 80's rock. So the band created their own personal studio recording and their personal production label called Bite records. From May 2005 to the end of 2006 the band passed their days workin'all day, playin' shows and get into the studio to record their new album! While Junkie and Pit left the band before the end of 2006 after recording the new songs, Rikki on guitar and Becky on bass join the band!!! Here's the final line-up with AJ on voice,Smoke and Rikki on guitars,Becky on bass and Kendy on drums. The new cd "SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD" was released on the first month of 2007. It's a "kick ass street Rock n' Roll 11 tracks Cd" with their personal sound including influences not only from the 80's rock but from different kind of music and sounds...but of course Rock n' Roll!!! The band is now playin' live to promote the new cd, while writing new songs...
