I'm a film maker, musician and interactive designer living in London. I produce corporate video and multimedia 9-5 but am also engaged in some personal projects in order to fulfillify my "work/life balance" requirementifications...nice...ie to have some fun, although I do have a lot of that with my lovely family.

"Cheese" is a work of pure willfull bloodymindedness written by myself and Duncan Morris (who also plays "Max"). Check out the trailer above and if you like it please point your friends at it too. We're going to podcast some of the material we've completed so far (approx half the script) in the hope of raising completion funds so please watch this space and subscribe to the Your Night Tonight podcast below which will be hosting the clips...
I've also now uploaded all 6 episodes of my graduation film podcast, Your Night Tonight, in bytesize chunks - Check them out here on MySpace and then subscribe to this feed to get them all on your iPod: http://rss.mac.com/lubbdupp/iWeb/Site/YourNightTonight/rss.x ml

My Interests

Film, music, photography, multimedia, atheism (Check this out on Wired.com: "Battle of the New Atheism" http://www.wired.com/news/wiredmag/0,71985-0.html?tw=rss.ind ex )

I'd like to meet:

Okay then: Orson Welles, Terry Gilliam, Beck, Philip K. Dick, Richard Dawkins

Music:

Electric Soft Parade, Beck, Pulp/Jarvis, Elbow, Morrisey, Fun Lovin Criminals, Massive Attack, The Christmas Bunch...and so very many more it's baffling...

Movies:

Brazil ... is there another film?

Television:

Well, just ordered Planet Earth and the Blue Planet from Amazon as I think they really do qualify as some higher order of truly inspirational film-making.

Books:

ANYTHING by Philip K Dick (that's not a title by the way), A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, Out of Control by Kevin Kelly, The Selfish Gene and The Extended Phenotype by Richard Dawkins, The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra, The Fabric of Reality by David Deutsch (...must finish those last two sometime...but banging stuff boys!) and fascinating to hear Richard Dawkins mention the latter during this presentation "Queerer Than We Suppose: The strangeness of science" here: http://richarddawkins.net/mainPage.php?bodyPage=article_body .php&id=176

Heroes:

Richard Dawkins - talking the talk and telling it like it is! --- Adam and Joe: that sounds interesting, let's talk about it, let's start talking now ---
