The music never stops

About Me

It has been a long time since I've updated my profile, but it's time to fill in the blanks. So (as my good friends know) I have a son now. He is brilliant. So is his mom- I give thanks for having both of them in my life, same goes for the puppies and cats.I had left the day job scene for a while, but I'm back at it again, providing for my family. Musically speaking, I still play trumpet & keys, but that pursuit is thankfully secondary in my life's work (translation: family comes first). Jivechops And The Give Thanks Ensemble is reforming, and rest assured, will be gigging soon enough.Other than my family, music is everything. Always has been, always will be. It's my first language, and the one I speak more fluently than any other.Last thing I must say is that every time my son Ajah smiles, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. How lucky is that? Each day you're gifted a new happiest moment in your life- you just have to find it.

Was it real? Major changes, give thanks

compelling yet awkward

I am filled with thoughts.  Inspired to wriite, as it's too late to play music and hear it well.  Create always, nurture and help grow.  With harmonic evolution, there are no boundaries...

Personal diatribe unstructured rambling Part 1

Okay, first things first.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure where to start.  Then just ramble, pick a key any key, what key is it in? The key of music, what key is it in, the key of life.  ...

Geminiacal

I'm wasn't sure which to do, blog away or play some piano.  Both endeavors nurture my soul, although I'm quite new at the blogging. For now I'll settle for a healthy mix, just threw some random t...

It Doesn't Matter

So after playing a show, hanging with Andy, getting home & eating some good organic grub, why can't I just get some rest?  It's that universal chord, the perfect harmony, the moment I co...
