How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace editor . Freak Mummy has influences, from the 70s Rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie or Jimi Hendrix to the alternative Pop-Rock scene, with bands like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Muse, P.J. Harvey, Björk... Freak Mummy are Giselle and Javimadrid. Giselle sings with sensuality, passion, rage and talks about Desperation, Life, Love and Happiness, surrounded by magical atmosphere. Freak Mummy's first show was in Suristan (Madrid, 2002). Since then, they appeared in a lot of venues in Madrid (Café La Palma', 'Siroco', 'Moby Dick', 'Contraclub', 'Bar&Co.', 'Astoria'. ...)They took part in 8th FITEC 2004 edition, recorded three EPs, the first one in 2003, the second, in 2004. " Fever", song included in their second EP, got a remark on GUITARRISTA MAGAZINE (nº69 CD reviews) as the best amateur group of the month. At the beginning of March they participated twice in the FEMINA ROCK 2006. Then in the island of Hierro (Canary Islands), and Amsterdam (meneer the witte). The new Freak mummy's flower is about to blossom..
