Nicholas Faith

The band Nicholas Faith had consisted of Nicholas and Patrick Faith, an ever changing guest and live set up. Patrick Faith Left band in late 2005 Nicholas Faith currently reside in The Tampa Bay area of FL. and is working on an album with the working title "how to take a fall" They are currently on a short hiatus while parts of their studio are rebuilt and brought back into working order. The band started when Nicholas left an art rock project and Patrick moved back in with Nicholas and the two decided to build a home studio circa 1996/97 the two still being very young began to experiment with different set-ups and playing everything from speed metal, lounge to techno. Until the start of this album the duo had been using c-lab/Emagic software Notator and Logic both on the Atari computer platform for several years and had actually not used guitars in the recording process for quite a while. When testing out a new adat Nicholas arranged and performed a cover of Joy Division's Shadowplay which saw the two having some local radio and club rotation which in return brought the guitars grinding back but this time backed by a large synth and sampler collection (both new and vintage) and several Macintosh computers running various softwares (eg. Logic audio and Reaktor software) After their short hiatus the band will return to live performance and recording with their unique brand of Indie rock with heavy electronic overtones.
