About Me

My musical life started in Armidale, (NSW, Australia) as a toddler sitting at a wooden bench in the kitchen "playing" along with the radio. Later I graduated to the piano next door, picking out songs by ear. The neighbours must have become tired of me being in there all the time and persuaded my mother to have me taught and to buy me a piano (for the costly sum of 15 pounds!!).
After following the classical route and achieving honours in 8th grade piano, I went to Christian City Church Creative Arts College in Brookvale (Sydney). I also played with a couple of bands that year, and the following few years ventured into film scoring. Also a fruitful song writing partnership developed with Scott Thomson (Presinator), our songs winning multiple awards in the Australian Song Writers Competition and Unisong and achieving no 1 status in Garage Band.
With the release in 2005 of "In The Path of Angels", I have found my own niche - instrumental music with a mixture of influences from Moby to Debussy. The music is inspired by verses from the bible, endeavouring to capture the spirit of the verse in music - helping to permeate the soul with the spirit of God from His Word.
At the moment I am teaching piano, endeavouring to sell my CD and am a member of Hillsong Church in Sydney
Award for "Can't Help It" from "In The Path of Angels".

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.  There's also a negative side".

Music Concept

The idea behind composing my music is that each track is connected to a bible verse(s) and meditation on that verse is encouraged while listening to the music. "Cant Help It" is subtitled "The Constan...
