CityRoyals

CityRoyals are a five piece band from Manchester, England. Many tales have been told of how these exceptional young gentlemen came together. Some involved certain members being discovered in wheelie bins whilst certain other members tried to smoke its contents. One story depicted an abandoned laboratory and a scientist named Ralf who would talk obsessively about the miracle of the bicycle. Some people would have you believe that CityRoyals are four mildly successful accountants and a cocktail pianist posing as guitar wielding youths as a hobby. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE….
What is true however is that Cityroyals are quickly becoming one of the most exciting bands in the world. Taking their influence from everyday life they write lyrics with a sense of wit and irony with a social awareness seen very rarely in music today. These youths play their songs with a raw passion and intensity, they poke fun at stereotypes portrayed in the news and like all great music, challenge the listener to question the reason for their own and other peoples behaviour.
