About Me

The Cordels live in a town called Warrington. They are a three piece and they make good music. It's music to dance about around to, and to sing to your friends as loud as you possibly can. It's music that makes you want to dance...
It's heartfelt and raw, and consists of three instruments and three voices that blend together with passion, reaching perfect highs and perfect lows, that print irresistible melodies straight onto your subconscious mind.
The Cordels pour their f****n hearts out live, and they do it for you. They want you to have a memorable time. They want you to think, when you think of them, 'That fifteen quid spent on a taxi home tonight was well worth it wasn't it?!'... This makes them happy.
They're still fresh faced, just under a year old to be precise, and despite their difficult, enduring and tender years as a musical three piece, they're already causing quite a stir. It seems that people are starting to take a shine to them, and rightly so.
How couldn't you? They're incredibly infectious. It's not only refreshing, but inspiring to see someone live for something they so strongly believe in. With some bands music is their life - The Cordels are one of those bands.
"We should be on that stage!" - The band often finds themselves shouting that at the television screen come festival season.
When you see the band perform there seems to be something lingering in the air that suggests it won't be long before they find themselves on the said stages - without trying to sound too clichÃ©, it quite clearly is their destiny.
