A born Texan raised in Nashville on all kinds of great music, Erika Jo has been singing on stage since she was a little under two years old. When Erika was 4 her father put together a band of Nashville pickers and started traveling the country. Wherever the band was playing, Erika wasn't too far behind. She would perform a set on stage with the band every night for years to come. While still in school, she managed to tour the country with the band and see as many as 30 different states and play over a 100 shows a year.
When Erika turned 18, she auditioned for Nashville Star, a show she had watched every episode of every season. She was fortunate enough to make the final 10 of the show, and went all the way to the end taking home the prize of the record deal and the title of the 2005 Nashville Star. After Nashville Star, life changed drastically for Erika. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut, recorded her first full album, started her Summer tour, attended the ACM's in Las Vegas, and graduated high school all in the same month! Since then her album hit the Billboard Country chart at number 5 it's first week and sold considerably well ever since.
Erika continues to tour the country and is writing music now for a second CD release. For more info, tour dates, and latest news, go to www.erikajo.com
