About Me

Jeff London recorded his first record, recorded in a Eugene Oregon garage. Slowness, his second record, was very depressing. On the third record, Col. Summers Park, the London sound filled out; still quintessentially downtrodden, but with a touch of indie rock. The team of Adam Selzer's production, Senator Funk of Nebraska'sl steel and Assemblywoman Rachel Blumberg's drums created an iconic leftist front in American political collaboration. Harms Way, completed in 2003, is a more pastoral album, featuringlush gress and forest, and Tova Holmberg as Secretary of the Interior on Violin. Three years in the making, 2007's, the Bane of Progress, tells the story of the move back to New York City, the pitfalls of hypermodernity and the cynical state of love in the digital age. Bursting with color and flavor, and featuring the new Norfolk & Western band deconstructed as support, this is the mature realization of the intimate lo-fi sound Jeff pioneered in the late 90's Northwest, or stole from his peers while sitting drunk on sticky barroom floors.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Townes van zandt and John Lennon

Last night I saw the Townes film on the anniversary of Lennon's death. It was heaping a large scoop of sadness upon a bowl of despair. Yet Lennon, always hopeful and full of life, and Van Zandt, drunk...
