About Me

Let me tell you about Kate...
When everyone else is still in bed she's made the lunches and planned a full day of teaching and music making. At some stage there will be rehearsal and writing parts on pro tools for the album which has been years in the planning.

She sings and plays blues harp, recorder and piano. Apart from all that she's got four kids, loves to cook, and makes marionettes. Check out her blog at lyrebirdcreate
Let me tell you about Pete...
Pete runs a thriving recording studio ( goose studios ) and gives support and mentoring to heaps of up-and-coming young (and old) bands. He's great around the house and has time to listen to everyone's little stories. He's trained the dog to walk at heel, the girls to do their music practice and me to stop panicking that I'll run out of time to fit everything in that I want to do. He likes fishing or walking on the beach and makes sure we do that once a week.
He plays great guitar and bass and blues harp and writes beautiful songs. Pete has always wanted to be a musician, for as long as he can remember... He has the persistence to work on something until he has it mastered. He inspired me to let go of the "page" and just write music, to take up blues harp and accordion and concertina, and to really use my piano skills. Pete reads a lot and likes watching movies. He's proud of his massive lexicon and likes to flaunt it.
