Christian Myspace Layouts - Jesus MySpace Layouts Christian Myspace Layouts Hey there, I appreciate you taking the time to read about me, so I hope that it helps you know who I am. I guess the best place to start would be the beginning but I can't remember back that far! But here goes... I was born in Auckland, New Zealand and I lived there the first few years of my life until I was 6, then I moved north to Paihia and lived across the road from the beach! That was awesome for a 6 y.o! I stayed there about 6 months then moved down to Wanganui (where I still live today) I moved around a bit during those years but I ended up in Wangas.When I was 7 I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and my life got really interesting and not always in a good way! I played sports every season, I played in sports teams for Soccer, T-ball (when I was young), Cricket & Softball. But I played Rugby & League with the neighbourhood kids, all the contact sports where you usually ended up getting hurt and walk home bruised and bloody! I was always the biggest so I did a lot of the tackling, but when I got running most of the time it was hard for me to stop, I guess that's why I was called "The Bulldozer" during those years!When I was 8 I got my first camera, which was probably one of the most pivotal moments in my life to date. I still have the camera. As I said earlier, photography has been a passion of mine since I was 8 and has just grown since then. I went from snapping pics on scout tramps and road trips to taking photos of models in studios or on site.I have done weddings, but I am mostly interested in doing children's photography. Firstly, you have to understand that I have a habit of just watching people; in the supermarket on the street... where ever. When I see young kids with no inhibitions smiling and playing, throwing caution into the wind, ideas for shots just flood my head! I would like to get those ideas on film, or memory card (whatever the case may be) and show them to others.Feel free to check out my website about my photography background at www.freewebs.com/fotomannz (it is currentlt under construction) also you can check out some of my photos at www.flikr.com/fotoman_nzThe worst time of my life was when I was 11 y.o and I had just had neurosurgery; a tumour had to be removed from my brain that was causing the epilepsy, and they accidentally severed a nerve in my motor strip (the part of the brain used for movement) and I woke up with my entire left side paralysed. I had to learn to walk & talk all over again. I found that martial arts was a great physical therapy so I took it up.I had to grow up a lot quicker than my peers and I learnt some things through hardship and struggle but I feel that I am a better person for it. There is still some minor paralysis in my left arm and hand area but that doesn't stop me from doing everyday things and living a life and it especially doesn't stop me from taking photos!When I was 21 a few months after a bad break-up, I had a life-changing experience with the Lord Jesus Christ; I saw miracles of healing, legs growing and gold appearing on my hands and face and it was that night, the night of November 23rd 2001 that I gave Jesus Christ my life, and to this day He always surprises me!I'm 26 years old now, and I'm a Freelance Photographer with ambitions to expand my horizons in that field and start my own photography business.But, most of my time (well hold on, I guess it's a 24/7 job) so ALL of my time I'm a leader at the church that I am part of; right now I'm on the pastoral team so there are pro's & con's to that, but I'm really enjoying being in this role and stretching my comfort zone. It is a lot of responsibility to have the authority to speak into people's lives, so I am wise with my words concerning people's situations. Finally, I'm a student of Vineyards Ministry Training College where I'm doing a diploma in Christian Ministry. I love my family and my friends (and my cat), and I love my work in photography and ministry, but I love Jesus more; to tell you the truth, I never expected to be in ministry, it was never a career goal of mine but I wouldn't turn my back on the work of Christ for the world, because it is for the world that I'm in ministry, to lead them to Salvation through the knowledge of what Jesus Christ has done by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
