About Me

"loquacity, like an over-filled bottle, [which] could never pour forth a small dose"

My Interests

retreiving lost sticklebricks from the sofa, trying not to go bleddy mental, sandpit architecture, singing like a strangled tabby, native plants, trying to remember what spangles tasted like, making stuff go art-shaped and nice wicker baskets

anyone who's not a total tit. in the meantime, here's kanye and the slayer boys... not together, though it would be an interesting collaboration eh? "I ain't saying she's a gold digger but she ain't messing wit' no angel o' death, death, death..."(Also, The Hoosiers vid for 'Worried About Ray', a fantastic short film about paranoia, sure many of us can relate to that ahem...)

Music:

Editors, Keane, Slayer, Kate Bush, Soundgarden, Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Ella Fitzgerald, Micheal Nyman soundtracks, Glenn Miller and various other bits of wartime swing, Joni Mitchell, Aerosmith, Fiona Apple, Beatles, Led Zep, Thin Lizzy, Jeff Buckley, Crowded House, southern boogie, Monster Magnet, Pearl Jam, Public Enemy, Boss, Beastie Boys, Pixies, Aretha Franklin, that Tognetti bloke who did the Master & Commander soundtrack, Edith Piaf, My Bloody Valentine, T Rex, Pink Floyd, Christina Aguilera, Supergrass, Fun Loving Criminals, Who, Ry Cooder, Fleetwood Mac, Billie Holiday, Metallica, Mary J. Blige, Manic Street Preachers, Beverly Knight, Elgar, Scissor Sisters, Nick Drake and dodgy old tunes from the 20s, 30s & 40s... in short, no one trendy, and anyone tuneful.
