About Me

How do chum!
Welcome to the Myvillage Myspace page! We hope that this will be the place for our featured bands and friends to interact with us and each other. We're proud of our network of 52 websites, which cover local news and events from Plymouth to Edinburgh and everywhere in between. If you're a band, feel free to get in touch with us - we're always on the lookout for new talent to feature on our network of 52 sites. If you're band, unsigned or with a label, with a venue, PR company or if you've just got a story or two to share about life in your hometown then we'd be chuffed to hear from you. Uber chuffed. Hop on board!
Our submission forms have been updated and are good to go, so if you haven’t already got in touch, now’s the time. And heck, if you want to get in contact with me about possibly doing an album review, quick phone interview, video streaming, press releases or anything really, then by all means email away – [email protected]. Hopefully we can work together to get some decent material for your PR package. And that’s the name of the game.
Hellll yeah, This is what we’re talking about:
Bands: http://mail.myvillage.com/bandfeedback/BandFeedback.htm
Comedians: http://mail.myvillage.com/community/community.html
This is the best link between you and us. Answer some simple questions and we'll be back in touch about getting an interview, album review and a show / gig calendar live. As the biggest local community network site in the UK, we're an excellent place to start if you want to get things moving for you and your music.
In our time, we've shared words with OK Go , William Orbit , Coldcut , Boy George , Katie Melua , Keane , and gosh, so many more. Most recently we've find out what's up with Brighton from none other than Beer and Rap's Dr Syntax and one-time Portishead collaborator Black Grass , got a perspective on the Cardiff scene with Halflight and discovered what "groovecore" is all about with Plymouth's own DIVidER . If you want to start enjoying life in the spotlight then get involved today . Good move, hotshot.
