BIOGRAPHY:
At the age of 21, Charleene Rena.. has already made her mark on the
London entertainment scene. A trained dancer from West London, she is
considered a veteran of modeling in British music videos. After co-starring
in the Kanye West produced single “The Oneâ€, Charleene became a much
sought after face in music promos, including the lead in one of the most
played and commercially downloaded videos of the year, Uniting
Nations – “Out Of Touchâ€(which is 6 in FHM’s “sexiest videos everâ€
list). Charleene’s star quality and provocative presence meant she
routinely received unprecedented attention from her video appearances
and gained many fans, such as MTV’s Tim Cash, who even sparked a
“Who’s That Girl?†campaign around Charleene in the British media.
Charleene took that momentum and turned her hand to presenting. A
series of live events, shows and television programmes fuelled the artistic
fire in her. Charleene had set her sights on a career as a recording artist
at an early age and decided to use her newly realised exposure to launch
her music career. With a direction that is a mixture of Kylie, Fergie and
Nelly Furtado, Charleene has something unique and interesting to offer as
an all around entertainer...singer, dancer and captivating onstage persona.
Her confidence was proven correct when she was personally chosen by
the head of Interscope records Jimmy Iovine to audition for the
European line-up of the Pussycat Dolls franchise, The Crazy Horse Girls .
After making it to the finals, Charleene realized it was time to focus on her own solo projects and decided to go forward on her own.
Having spent the past year building her vocal, writing and performing
abilities, and working with a range of hot producers in both the UK and
the U.S., Charleene is set to release her much anticipated debut single
“Don’t Matterâ€, a sassy, sexy and punky dance anthem.
