Brash and gutsy, this singer songwriters words and music are a unique blend of 70s classic rock and todays storytelling roots music. Invoking artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and Tom Petty, Clayton thrives on blue-collar rock n roll. Rising up from small town rural Alberta, he spent his formative years playing music and racing semi-pro motto-cross. Eventually he went to college where he received his diploma in vocal performance and business.Bellamy has won over audiences at North Americas most prestigious festivals with his energetic and interactive live performances. With extensive time spent on the college and university circuit, Clayton has shared the stage with a host of artists including Three Days Grace, Big Sugar, Cheap Trick, Nickleback the Dixie Chicks, and Dwight Yoakam.His hard work and resourcefulness has earned him many industry acknowledgements from organizations such as the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities and Canadian Music Week. The Alberta Recording Industry Association awarded Clayton with Single of the Year for Running On Empty and six nominations including Best Artist, Album, and Song Writer. The Band walked away with six nominations at the 2005 Canadian Country Music Awards awards and won Group of the Year in 05 and 06, Producer of the Year, and CMT Program of the year for their TV series The Road Hammers.
