About Me

Singer, long since lost to performing it seems. His last band dissolved due to the other members just not wanting to do it any more. But to him it was personal. To him it’s so much missed. But seemingly everyone wants to be whatever’s in these days. And he’s a music fan. Within the apathy, has he nothing more to say?
Singer gets a message online, which turns his world asunder, from former Jellyfish (Who he’s obsessing over) guitarist /Slash’s Snakepit singer Eric Dover …
“I’m so jealous of you English guys.
I really like your voice.
Get back on that stage soon!”
The glitterlicious smile shimmered absolutely. Like a sun.
Singer goes into a music shop and ends up buying the second album by The Forecast, which sounds fantastic through the big speakers. Amidst that glitter tingle & on the way down the stairs he remembers Eric’s comments and looks across the music board.
Page after page of the in crowd. Depressingly. Again.
There amidst the notices, a poster sang out - noticed by his girlfriend. An ad from a guitarist. A music fan…
“Lets just say this band needs the lyrical genius of The Smiths, the epic qualities of M83/Spiritualised, the charm of Kate Bush and the Power Of Rage Against The Machine.”
Listed within was loads of stuff that he hadn’t listen to, but admired & respected greatly. The thought of those different influences and the contrasting ideas that could bounce forth, brought butterflies.
In the thereafter a friendship grew and within the getting to know you the passion they had for the sheer love of music grew into a chemistry where writing just plain exuded it.
Over the proceeding months songs relationships formed and broke, life happened within its spendour and destruction and songs were written.
Some great comments sprung forth and people hung in there for the band, both on a fan and professional level, both of which brought forth some wonderfully warm and encouraging comments – and that inspiration genuinely inspired us within the feel that something was building.
November 2007. Just finished 'A Spaced Oddity' EP and ready to gig some more. Not only that, but rehearsing up with ace new rhythm-master Greg on drums, which - judging by early rehearsals - is going to evolve us to quite some degree. IE _ Drums that go BOOM and guitars going GROWL. Verily. Do come see us. Oh and say hi n stuff!
Lunar, Alina & now Greg!.

The orange of updatery ^_^

Recording went forth last night of the new song, a few takes; a strange beast to nail sound wise at least initially as the early playing as very soft, most of the vocal quiet and warm, but we sorted a...
