MUGZO (RIP ALmighty AziZ)

Raised by his grandparents most of his life kept Mugz grounded as both of his grandparents always supported his music career. After loosing his grandfather in 1998 and grandmother in 2000 Mugz his career had come to a halt dealing with the emotions he faced after he had lost both of his parental figures. Mugz recollected his thoughts and moved on soon after. After the sudden death of his mentor, Speedy Loc, Mugz only took a brief pause but knew he had to move on. Although Mugz was devastated by the death of Speedy Loc he knew that if he continued to persevere he would eventually be successful and take his rap career to another level.
Mugz continued full speed ahead dedicating his hard work to his loved ones that had passed on. The memory of them has kept him motivated to continue his success. “Cali Movement”, Ghetto Ballin's first project, was dedicated to Speedy Loc and all of his loved ones that had passed. “Cali Movement” featured Goldie Gold of Federation, Big Chill, Cisko (PBC), Mugz, Daddy Rich, Kutty Boy (ESO), Gemini, Stik Gilatine, Krymewave, UTG, Warlordz, Jermz & more. In 2008 Mugz will release the album. On this album Mugz will showcase his skill as an MC while also producing most of the tracks on the album. Until now Mugz career as an MC has taken a back seat to his Producer/Record Label duties. Mugz influence as an MC are 2pac (R.I.P), B.I.G (R.I.P), Yukmouth, Ya Boy, The Game, Big Pun, Ice Cube, Jadakiss, D Block, Tha Realest, The Regime and more.
Mugz and Ghetto Ballin Entertainment have changed the face of Northern California hip hop and will soon be nationwide. Mugz has the backing of a lot of hip hop crews, DJs, MCs, and record labels including:
