Reppin' out the Salad Bowl air-E-ah is Gemini CEO & artist of 2Face Entertainment.Gemini was the first out his home town of Soledad CA to represent on the mic. by releasing (what people now call) "mixtapes". 1994 through 1998 Gemini released 4 mixtapes which are now lost somewhere in the vaults of Central Cali.Unphased by haters, Gemini proceeded ahead refusing to get swallowed up by the small town he calls home. He went on and kept his dreams alive by connecting with out of town people who could relate with his dream of making music...living up to the saying, "GET IN WHERE YOU FIT IN".Hit with the dose of shady people in the music business, Gemini proceeded in making himself his own boss and started his own record label 2Face Entertainment in 1999.Helping release albums out of the Salad Bowl area, Gemini embarked on releasing his own album "Casualties Of Life" based on his actual life. The album reflects on very personal issues throughout Gemini's life...his dad's passing (Reminicin' 97), caring for his mom after she's gone through brain surgery (The Good Times That Follow), raising two of his nephews on his own & dealing with ungrateful people (pulling no punches & non-watered down on every track). Balanced with the good & evil (likes to refer to it as his revenge or backlash), is in the harsh, bitter sweet, yet real lyrics that can be heard on the album. Prior to this album being released, Gemini caught the attention of his home town newspaper (Soledad Bee) where his mom, his nephew (Birdman) & Gemini were photographed on the front page. Along with a indepth story of their lives & why Gemini had chose to tell their story through his music.With features from Yukmouth, Mr. Kee, PlayaRae, Young Droop, Kaoz the Assasin, AOD and every 831 Salad Bowl area rapper he could get in touch with...he released his album feeling proud to have famous rappers & rappers out of his area representing the Salad Bowl 831 making his dream a reality.Curently working on his new album "WALKING TALL" in which he features the talents of Marvaless, Yun-Gun, Yung Cavi, Mostel (Kryme Wave), Superior 1 & TANK Tycoon to name a few. Gemini also has his hand in a documentary he's been filming for the past few years. It documents artist/producers etc etc...in Monterey County, the struggles, the life, the ambition outside the glamour life shown to the world on MTV. The DVD is now in the editing stages, yet still open for more footage (you can never have too much).Although loving music, Gemini's love before anything is his 4 year old son which he fondly calls "Mr. Fin".Gemini is also in the works with his nephew Birdman working on material for his future release.
