Lady Melodic

Raised in a religious household where rap was considered "worldly music". It wasn't allowed at home, so Lady Melodic would sneak to her grandmother's house to watch "YO! MTV RAPS."Like so many, Lady Melodic sang in the church choir. She started performing with three friends who were also a part of the youth group. Together the four performed at youth functions through out California.At age 16, family life at home changed and so did Lady Melodic's emotional rhyme form. Though life had thrown a curve ball, Lady Melodic kept her pen to the paper and kept writing.From her late teens and up to her mid. 20's. Lady Melodic would run through broken promises and pipe dreams when it came to recording music.It wasn't until she ran into an old friend who introduced her to some mutual friends running an independent label.Present day: Lady Melodic continues to write music and is steady in the lab recording numerous features for mixtapes, other artist and her solo debut as well.
