SWP, aka Simon Pinfold, bought his first decks 4 years ago and has been playing Progressive, Trance and Electronica ever since.
His passion in life is quality electronic music, which started as a schoolkid in the 80's with the likes of Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, New Order, etc. In the 90's, he discovered clubbing and was immediately taken by the unique atmosphere of clubs such as The Hacienda and Cream. And then with the release of Paul Oakenfold's Goa Trance mix on Dragonfly, he was really hooked! He listened to trance at every opportunity from that point, through the height of it's commercial popularity at the turn of the millenium and into the early 2000's.
A complete convert to the digital generation, he is now almost exclusively using CD's & Ableton in his sets and is producing his own tracks. He has recently appeared in the Young Talent section of the weekly radio show ClubxSessions and along with 2 friends, has started his own night, HYPNOTIC. He is also producing and presenting a monthly Podcast, HYPNOTIC DIGITAL (www.myspace.com/hypnoticdigital), which is already receiving excellent reviews and support from all corners of the globe.
