in nightlife events, music videos, films and documentaries having to
do with dance music and culture.
We are currently in the production phase and expect to release
"LOUDER!" in the Fall/Winter 2007. There is a need for a film like this
not only for electronic music fans but also for everyone that misunderstands
the music and the culture.The film is being produced by New York City DJ/Filmmakers that
understand this need and have taken it upon themselves to be the
voice of millions that agree that it's time electronic music gets the
proper respect it deserves. We hope this film can be a pivotal point in
electronic music and help put an end to its constant misrepresentation
on mainstream radio, television and other forms of media. Pop, rock
and hip hop are beginning to embrace electronic sounds more and
more, though large record companies have been caught using illegal
payola to keep their artist's tracks repetitively on the air. So this is
not only an obstacle for good electronic music but for good music of
all kinds.
Our goal is to educate amateur, novice and pro DJ/producers in the
new technology being used by the best of the best, entertain the fans
with event coverage and stories from their favorite DJs, and to attract
new potential listeners. Based in New York we also intend to incorporate
other cities around the country and Europe. We recently covered a dozen
