About Me
Jardo's style of mixing his own edits, mash-ups, remixes, and original productions with carefully selected underground tracks and the occasional classic gems has gained him popularity around the world. Jardo's Progressive Sessions podcast educates thousands of monthly listeners with the newest Tech-House, Electro, Progressive House and Trance with a mixing style that keeps the audience on edge. Jardo is known for his unusual use of acapellas, Classic Rock, and sometimes Hip Hop frequently seasoned throughout every set. In 2007 the melodic and dirty sounds of Jardo's Progressive Sessions were blasted through space and across North America via Sirius Satellite Radio. Sirius' interest grew in Jardo when he was offered a show as a DJ and radio personality, however, the merger with XM forced both stations to cut back on programming. This led to Jardo's many guest appearances on North American and over seas based internet radio stations such as Dark Radio, Techno.fm, Party 107 and Radio Dea. Jardo was added to the elite roster of DJ/Producers to be featured on Crobar's Bora Music Housecast when he was asked to produce the "Best of 2008" episode.Over the years, Jardo has graced the decks of renowned New York City nightclubs including Spotlight, Avalon, Suade, Area, Sin Sin, Drom, Columbus 72 and Pacha. Throughout the Spring and Summer months of 2008 Jardo held down a residency in the main ballroom at the legendary Webster Hall. It was here that Jardo created Synergy, an event that encouraged diversity and all walks of life to "come together". Synergy packed out one of NYC's largest dance floors. In the fall of 2008 Jardo had begun his next endeavor with the creation of Fluid, Manhattan's only indoor pool party that catered to House music. By Winter, the wettest party in NYC became a weekly success.Jardo's talents aren't limited to just musical and technical excellence. He is also determined to give the world the opportunity to understand the electronic music revolution with empathetic eyes rather than the points-of-view of the American media that surrounds him. In 2006 The misrepresentation of electronic music inspired Jardo to produce and direct "Louder!", a feature length documentary about the life of electronic music and the artists that compose it. "Louder!" is expected to be released during the Summer of 2009. Through his film and music, he has had the honor of working with the most influential DJs in the Dance music culture of the past, present and future. Keep your eyes and ears open for this emerging DJ/Producer because Jardo is the next generation of Dance music.
