I am a keyboard (piano, organ, synths) player living in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up in Vegas, went to college in Miami (where I stayed on and gigged for a while afterwards), and lived in Spain (Mallorca) before finally arriving in NYC around 1998. I moved to NY to play jazz piano, but right after I got here I started playing a lot of B3 organ gigs. I guess that jazz organ constitutes about half of what I do, with the rest of my time divided between piano gigs and "other music".
"Other music" really covers a lot of territory. I have toured and recorded with a whole slew of pop artists, including (but not limited to) The Bee Gees, Matchbox Twenty, Julio Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Jose Feliciano, and Expose (remember "freestyle", anyone?). I also accompany dance classes at the Limon institute in NY, which has lead to composing music for choreographers here in the city. I have a small production studio in my crib where I produce music/tracks for jingles and film. I play with some really talented singer/songwriters (Ryan Scott, notably). Sometimes I play more free/electronic music with people like Joel Newton or Groove Collective.
What you'll find here is news about cool stuff I'm doing that might be a little more "underground" or fledgling than the big acts listed above.
Hope you enjoy the sounds...drop me a line if you want...
