Miss Kitty

Me-ow: the artist.

About Me

I created this extra profile on myspace in hopes of networking and boosting my artwork. I know there are many out there that share the same hopes and ambitions.
I have recently decided to start selling some of my work, some of which may be found on my etsy account . If you are interested in anything listed there but would rather not sign up, I have more listed on my personal website . I accept PayPal, money orders, and personal checks, but everything must clear before an item is shipped. On top of that, I will do commission and prices for those will depend on the project asked for.
I am currenlty selling seashells, hairsticks, and a handful of jewelry. All may be found directly on my website .
Here is a small sampling of what I currently have for sale. More items may be found on shop.the-misskitty.net . Please click on each picture to be taken to the respective page for more information.

My Interests

arts, crafts, web design, graphic design, photography, selling, diy, diy business, etsy, and anything along those lines

I'd like to meet:

Fellow artists and crafters, business people, those willing to give honest feedback, and, of course, future customers!

Visit all of these awesome sites!

Music:

The genres I like are: rock, hard rock, classical, classic rock, industrial, goth, 80s, techno. My favorite bands are: Apoptygma Berzerk, The Cure, Alice in Chains, Nirvana. On top of that, there is a long list of other bands that I like: VAST, A Perfect Circle, Billy Idol, Andrea Bocelli, Assemblage 23, Bauhaus, Bush, Chris Isaak, Cotenant, VNV Nation, Cracker, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Enya, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Gary Numan, Porcupine Defense, Goo Goo Dolls, Gravity Kills, Inxs, Live, Mad Season, Orgy, Prodigy, Radiohead, Rammstein, Rolling Stones, Santanna, Sarah McLachlan, Smashing Pumpkins, Soft Cell, New Order, Aha, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, Switchblade Symphony, The Sisters of Mercy, The Smiths, Tool, U2, Velvet Revolver, X Marks the Pedwalk

Movies:

I always love a good drama. Aside from that, Saving Private Ryan, American History X, The Passion of the Christ, Dead Man Walking, Schindler's List.

Television:

I'm not really a TV person, though late-night reruns and Animal Planet can be great.

Books:

Half of the books I read anymore have to do with WWII and the Holocaust. I do have to say that H.G. Wells is my all-time favorite author and that I have never read the same book twice.

Heroes:

My mother. She has always been there for me through it all. No one could even begin to imagine how much she has helped. She loves me no matter what, and that is an amazing thing.
My dog, Angie. Yea, scoff if you will, but she lives to make me smile and will annoy the snot out of me in order to make me feel better.
Ernest Gordon, the man behind the true story To End All Wars or Through the Valley of the Kwai. He was an amazing person, being able to persevere through countless horrors, cheat death a handful of times, and finding the true meaning of love and forgiveness.
