New demo! New Day

About Me

Christy's music has been compared to that of Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Tori Amos. Like Sheryl Crow's first record, Tuesday Night Music Club, GET READY has one voice, but many faces. Guitar-driven, straight-ahead rock gives way to piano grooves or energetic acoustic rock rhythms. This first collection received rave reviews from fans as far away as the UK, and has sold nearly 1,000 copies so far in the U.S.Since the breakup of the Christy Wilson Band in 2004, Christy has been striking out on her own, writing and performing on her strongest instrument: the piano. Solo performances have earned her a small but growing fan base in several major cities nationwide, including Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Boston, and her home town San Diego.

I am so backed up with stuff to record it's not even funny.  And the worst part is - whenever I sit down to lay down a track, I end up writing more.  This is called irony.  It means th...
