About Me

Beats Meets Streets!!!!!!! X-MeNN Dancing for Juan Atkins. Two GreatsFootWork Productions Story by & Produced by Gabrielle Jones Screenplay by Gabrielle Jones & Dina DunhamA girl cannot have just all work and no play.Toni Sabotini of Detroit lands the deal of a lifetime to find a hot new dance move for an international music video.SynopsisToni lands a deal with her marketing firm while working as an account executive in Detroit. The deal to find a hot new dance to be featured in music videos nation wide. While staging auditions all over the city, Toni comes across numerous different dances inspired by a diverse group of people. The winners get a chance to star in the music video featured at the end of the movie while touring with a dance troupe worldwide. In the meantime, she runs into her high school crush Maxx, a hot-bodied motorcyclist whom Toni can't resist. While trying not to break her rule of all work and no play, she recognizes that he still has all the right moves on and off the bike, dancing "The Jit", a dance that Toni recalls from junior high school. The talented performers that the auditions bring astound Toni. Among them is Johnnie, an attractive street minded teen that belongs to a group who believe they have mastered this hot dance. The battle is on when Johnnie challenges Maxx for the spot in the video while trying to make the dance troupe to escape the streets of Detroit. Toni dismisses Johnnie and his friends due to the obscene nature of their performances. While holding new shows and auditions, Johnnie crashes one of the performances and steals the show. After witnessing this, Toni then decides to give them a chance to clean up their act. The battle is intense and heats up, but not without drama and violence.Produced & Written by Gabrielle Jones Associate Producer and Music Supervisor Al MaddinFootwork-themovie.com
