Cream Tangerine has had its ups and downs. through out its 5 year run it has had many songs and many members. The band started with Mike Pollitt, and Mark Vatarie. It started with the two jamming and writing. The first song was called good times. When stephon suhar pat saurland and jame birdsall joined mar left and these 4 boys were on a mission, to take over the world. through time the members were not focusing on a common goal. first pat left and mike mcCann took over bass guitar. the we added a piano player named peter frasinszki. soon after the new arrangement of members was made the band took a 4 month break. mike pollitt went to writing songs for the new arrangement. as time passed by the members all fell out. Mike and James were left by them selves. James soon also took a back seat and left mike to keep the band alive. he then fell accross two old musician friends. Jason DesBiens and Cameron Ruth. The perfect match for what Mike saw the band to be and sound like. And the end of Cameron led to Kevin...and then Kevin and Jason moved away to East Asia to start a small Latex company by the name of VanDele Industries. The building caught fire a week later, and the two gentleman were left stranded in the orient with only melted contraceptives............And the legacy continues-In early 2006 Mike met a young lad named James, saxophones, who he worked with at a local supermarket. Later that year James and two of his compadres, Jesse, trumpet, and John, trombone, stumbled into swing state to see what all the hubub was. After meeting with Mike and jamming countless times writing horn parts and jamming over the fall and winter seasons, they were left behind by previous members. So James found Sean Peters, bass player, in the CLC jazz band, and a couple weeks later Sean had Nick, drummer, come to practice. Sean and Nick had been in bands before together, and they all went to highschool together with Mike. When Mike requited Tyler from their nearby music store as a hand percussionist, Cream Tangerine had finally begun to grow, as one big peice of slimy orange fruit.The 8 piece, Cream Tangerine and The Pink Lemonade Brass Band is about to rock your stockings off and into the ground, so dont stop dancing.
