Late 1920s- early 1940s; the style, couture and culture.
Burlesque, cabaret, vaudeville, performance art, trash can punch, costuming, faux hair and eyelashes, big stompy boots, corsets, stockings, garters, heels, theatre, elocution, polka dots, rich colours, black and white contrasts. Foreign cultures and languages, massage therapy/holistic health, late night coffee, staying the night with friends, anything minty, forensics, history, biographies and switching ladders.
I consider myself a creative type and I like to paint, make collages (decoupage), photography and some writing. Dada, Surrealism, and Avant-Garde art draws me in.
Travel~ "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." ~Twain

I just got a tv for the first time in over ten years and I've yet to plug it in. However, I have seen a few series that I fell in love with: House, Six Feet Under, Flight of the Conchords, Sex and the City and Doctor Who. src="http://www.unclenicks.net/bilderberg/www.bilderberg.org

Fleurs de Mal by Charles Baudelaire, Tommy's Tale by Alan Cumming, anything by Louise Brooks or Francesca Lia Block, Joseph Heller's Catch 22,and a few girl books. I'm a biography dork too.
I don't believe in heroes. Everyone's here for a reason, many just don't bother to look beyond the obvious or recognise their own purposes.
