Locwax

Locwax is the pseudonym of Lachlan Bleackley. Lachlan has been creating various styles of music since the late eighties. Starting with a guitar and bass, he played in several rock/fusion bands around Toronto until the mid nineties. At that point, Lachlan took a break from it all and went to school to earn a diploma in Massage Therapy in order to work is little as he could. He also took up writing fiction as well as teaching the guitar to people who didn't mind the lack of actual theory involved in the lessons.It was roughly the year 2000 that Locwax came into being through a series of magic mushroom laden sessions on the MTV Music Generator on a Playstation game console with some schoolmates. It was also around the time he learned to understand the benefits of electronic music. So, the love flourished from that point on. Now he spends whatever pittance he earns on new gear and software to continue amusing himself.Locwax currently lives in the High Park region of Toronto
