HEADLESS are formed in the summer of 2005 by thewill of Alessandro Liuzzi (guitar), DanieleMarchionna (drums) and Francesco Marchionna (bassand vocals). After a first test the band warns itspotential. The mixture of the influences of thethree gives rise to a direct sound, shut and brutalthat embodies the spirit of the first (de)composedpieces. The style, ispired to floridian death metal,meets brutal components and sociopathic themes, ofhate and repression dictated by the rotteness of theworld around. In a second moment the band decides toadd into organic a second guitar to face the liveexperience, but Gianni Sirena's entrance contributessubsequently to strenghten and to valorize HEADLESSsound, and he comes of fact enlisted.The debut happens in the 2005 Metal Summer EndFestival with other Italian underground extremescene rapresentatives.Headless played also during the 2nd Damiano DeParigi memorial in December of the same yeartogether with bands like Necrotorture, Ingraved andAd Noctem Funeriis.In summer 2006 Headless entered in studio to record their first work.Finally in October comes out "Blood Desire", a six-tracks self-producedpromo."Blood Desire" obtains very positive reviews from italian and foreignwebzines and media around the world, and the first 200 copies have beensent around.After the rehersal of "Blood Desire" Headless strenghten their livepresence. They continue to be present in South Italy extreme scene,playing in festivals like the 3rd Damiano de Parigi Memorial, or being presentin important gigs, like opening for Avulsed and Horrid.But also in Rome Headless begin to be active.Meeting with local bands, they play on stage with bands like Compulsion andDemonian and so go on...In September 2007 Headless enter in studio again to record their secondpromo cd, another self-produced work of 5 tracks.New songs appears different from the previous compositions.The band moves towards more obscure and faster fields, leaving behindthe brutal influences of the past. Also themes of the songs are different.All lyrics are focused on the criticism of Christianity, emphasizing a messageof the religious systems distruction.News coming soon...
