COMPULSION - new live video online

In late 2001, a unknown band was formed by Mirko (bass), Roberto (drums) and Giordano (guitar). Their purpose was to play a very open-minded death metal as their musical taste is very ecleptic. By the end of 2002 the band had improved and four songs were completed but due to the lack of a singer the band couldn't play any concerts and no recordings were possible.As time passed the band gained musical experience through constant rehearsing. In May 2003 Roberto met Gianni Girolami (ex-Mindaleth) and asked him to join the band, the result has been excellent, since Gianni is an official member of the band the songs were modified and enriched with sick melodies and an even broader musical influence has been brought to the guys. Three more songs were written. In November 2003 the band found a singer (Emanuele Nardini), then they finally had a name which Gianni came up with: COMPULSION.COMPULSION is a psychological term intended to represent in one word the sickness and problems with the human mind and society as well.Thanks to the addition of a singer and a reasonable number of songs the band finally played some gigs and the audience response was great. In July 2004 due to personal and musical problems Emanuale left the band. This situation eventually convinced Giordano to replace Emanuele as Compulsion's vocalist. The band is very pleased with this change.Giordano's voice fits very well with COMPULSION's sound. At the end of July 2005 the band spent 7 days in 16th Cellar Studio in Rome recording the first Demo CD which is called "To Die Before Dying". The band is extremely satisfied with the finale outcome and they are currently hoping to play some more gigs and find some a record label to sign them.
