We are holding a local artist show at the Cincinnati Music Hall in Spring 07 (April), showcasing Cincinnati’s most talented artist while also showcasing the talent Cincinnati has in the fashion industry. The show will be titled “Cincinnati Rips the Mic’ & Runwayâ€, and will include performances by local Hip-Hop & R&B acts, while models and dancers perform onstage with artists. This will provide an avenue of exposure, experience and success for the local talent, while opening doors for Cincinnati’s entertainment industry. Overall, this event will promote a non-violent environment and half of its proceeds will go to the Cease Fire Organization, in hopes to bring awareness to the excessive violent acts in our community. With music, fashion and art, we plan to show our city and neighbors that we can host events as such without someone losing their life, and give hope to the young and talented.
I am requesting individuals, professionals and amateurs, who are willing to participate in making this event come to life. I will be holding a presentation meeting for the show on January 13, 2007. If you are interested, please email me @

We are looking for producers, engineers, stage sound & lighting, fashion designers, models, creative art & design, graphic designers, a promotion & marketing team, dancers, choreographers, Deejays, party and event planners and anyone willing to participate. I'm sure we'll have a place for everyone. We will search for the top six artists after we have assembled our structure. I strongly and passionately believe this will be a big event that no one will forget. Trust me!In 2004, a young man, named Khaleim Shaundale Waver who discovered great talent within himself as well as his colleagues, launched Flat-Line Entertainment. During the past year, the company has positioned itself as a recording label with the potential to become one of the most successful recording labels/entertainment companies based in Cincinnati Ohio. While the east, west and south regions of the country have had the advantage in record making in the past twenty years of the music industry, the dawn of the Midwest region is finally rising. The opportunity to operate and run a recording label in the Midwest successfully is at a great advantage.To utilize his time to focus on the creative nature of the label, his sister, NeKisha Waver, whose business and professional backing, would step in and become the CEO of the label. Although she has been involved in the genre since birth, there were in’s and out’s of the industry that she wasn’t aware of, until she enrolled in two music business seminars, and purchased a host of publications, that instructed, in detail how to successfully run a recording label. The leadership and alignment characteristics of the CEO and strength of the team have resulted in broad goal setting to meet the ever-changing demands of the quick-moving marketplaceThe purpose of the operation of the company is to produce, market, promote and distribute Hip Hop/R&B music independently. It is motivated to create a fair music channel for hot talent, giving local artists of the city an avenue of success. An independent recording label that embodies the characteristics that makes the company suitable for a position and task. That task is to allow onward movement into a direction of progress, not only for the company’s profit, but also for the city of Cincinnati. This is our definition of "Flat-Line"Flat-Line Entertainment will encourage community development through efforts of non-profit organizations and begin to build economic bridges with Cincinnati recognizing its market viability.
